My Story…
Latoya Singleton loves numbers and problem-solving. She is a C.P.A. with a B.S. in Accounting and an M.B.A. from Rutgers University. She has over 18 years of experience in finance and accounting, working for different organizations in various sectors.
Since May 2019, Latoya has been the Chief Financial Officer of MƒA, a nonprofit that supports and empowers math and science teachers. She manages the finance, accounting, facilities, and human resources of MƒA. She also improves the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization by automating and optimizing its systems and workflows.
Latoya is not only a finance expert, but also a tech enthusiast. She is a board member and Treasurer of Ada Developers Academy, a nonprofit that provides tuition-free education and training for women and gender-diverse people who want to pursue careers in software development. She also serves on the Rutgers University Alumni Association board, where she helps to connect alumni and the university.
