My Story…
My Story: 42 year old chronic migraineur for over 25 years. I live a cautious life due to this illness. My migraines vary every time and can last 12 hours on one episode or up to 72 hours in other occasions. I can treat these episodes and go on with my day or in some cases can disable me for days.
In addition to pain, sickness, and — for many — daily disability, migraine carries a severe burden of discrimination and negativity from many members of the community. Migraines are not jus a "headache" and @Milesformigraine is a nonprofit that works to reduce that social stigma, and supports people with migraine and their families.
