Our Why
Team Tucker is back! Every year we gather to honour sweet Tucker's memory. Sweet Baby Tucker arrived on April 23, 2019, and quickly stole everyone’s heart. He battled through four open-heart surgeries during his short time with us. His parents, who love him more than anything, stayed by his side. Unfortunately, Tucker’s brave little heart was unable to recover. On June 7, 2019, Tucker gained his angel wings. During Tucker’s time at the Stollery, his parents, Mark and Megan Hewson, had the opportunity to stay at the Ronald McDonald House in Edmonton. In honour of Tucker, we would like to raise awareness for the RMHC.
