Help Axel raise money

For participating in Barkapalooza

My Story…

Thank you for visiting my Barkapalooza page. This year I am running the Barkapalooza 5k in honor of all the cats my family have fostered through West Suburban Humane Society. I love to foster cats because it gets them out of the shelter and helps them get used to a new home and new people. Without WSHS, these cats might not get a second chance. Our foster cats Maja and Lusi were just adopted, and I can’t wait to meet our next foster cats! Please donate so that WSHS can continue rescuing dogs and cats and giving them a second chance!

Description

The West Suburban Humane Society (WSHS) is a private, volunteer-based, animal welfare organization that was founded in 1972 and is 100% funded by individuals, our business partners and private grants. Since our inception we have found forever homes for more than 31,000 animals, and strive to be a community resource for all pet owners.
We want to save as many lives as we can but we need your help!  Our adoption fee does not cover the testing, de-worming, vaccinations, spay/neutering and microchipping WSHS provides these pets, not to mention food, litter, pee pads and other supplies our animals need!
  • Just $25 will microchip 5 animals
  • $50 will feed all the animals in our shelter one meal
  • $100 will cover the cost to spay or neuter one animal
  • $250 will contribute to the medical care for one of our animals needing extra care
  • $500 will cover the cost of one animal in our shelter
