Thank you for visiting my Barkapalooza fundraising page.
This year is my 10th anniversary of being a West Suburban Humane Society volunteer, and am in my second term of serving on the Board of Directors. To celebrate this past decade, I will be matching the first $500 donated to my page!
West Suburban Humane Society goes above and beyond for the animals in their care. WSHS adopts over 600 dogs and cats each year. The money that you donate will be used to care for and feed the homeless animals at the shelter until they are adopted.
Barkapalooza is the shelter’s biggest fundraiser of the year, so we are sending this message to ask you to donate to this great cause. Any amount would be helpful. Donating through this website is simple, fast, and secure. It is also the most efficient way to support our fundraising efforts.

Description
The West Suburban Humane Society (WSHS) is a private, volunteer-based, animal welfare organization that was founded in 1972 and is 100% funded by individuals, our business partners and private grants. Since our inception we have found forever homes for more than 31,000 animals, and strive to be a community resource for all pet owners.
We want to save as many lives as we can but we need your help! Our adoption fee does not cover the testing, de-worming, vaccinations, spay/neutering and microchipping WSHS provides these pets, not to mention food, litter, pee pads and other supplies our animals need!
Just $25 will microchip 5 animals
$50 will feed all the animals in our shelter one meal
$100 will cover the cost to spay or neuter one animal
$250 will contribute to the medical care for one of our animals needing extra care
$500 will cover the cost of one animal in our shelter
