My Story…
Elf and his brother Brownie came to West Suburban Humane Society (WSHS) as 8-week-old puppies. Pete and I fostered these boys until they were adopted several weeks later. Elf was recently returned at the age of 9 months when his family's schedule changed and they were no longer able to care for him. We never know what the future holds, but we do know that WSHS will take care of our animals no matter what. Elf is in good hands at our adoption center, playing and goofing around while he waits for his new adoptive family.
Since its inception, WSHS has found forever homes for more than 31,000 animals, giving each of them their own happily ever, no matter what they needed to get there. In order to continue to go above and beyond for homeless dogs and cats, we need your help! No donation is too small:
Just $25 will microchip 5 animals.
$50 will feed all the animals at the adoption center one meal
$100 will cover the cost to spay or neuter one animal
$250 will contribute to the medical care for one of our animals needing extra care
$500 will cover the cost of one animal in our care

Description
The West Suburban Humane Society (WSHS) is a private, volunteer-based, animal welfare organization that was founded in 1972 and is 100% funded by individuals, our business partners and private grants. Since our inception we have found forever homes for more than 31,000 animals, and strive to be a community resource for all pet owners.
We want to save as many lives as we can but we need your help! Our adoption fee does not cover the testing, de-worming, vaccinations, spay/neutering and microchipping WSHS provides these pets, not to mention food, litter, pee pads and other supplies our animals need!
