My Story…
At WSHS we strive to go above and beyond for every animal who comes through our doors. Right now, we’re reaching out to you to help us continue this vital work. Your generous donations will directly benefit the animals in our care—providing them with food, essential medical treatments, and the comfort of a safe environment.
In addition to our care efforts, your support will also enhance our foster program. This program is crucial in giving our animals the experience of a loving home environment while they wait for their forever families. Foster homes are a critical part of our operation, offering temporary refuge and personalized attention that helps prepare our animals for adoption. Your donations will enable us to provide our fosters with supplies, medical care, and resources, ensuring they can continue to offer a nurturing temporary home. Every dollar you contribute makes a meaningful difference.
Donate today and be a part of their journey to a better life. Thank you!
Description
The West Suburban Humane Society (WSHS) is a private, volunteer-based, animal welfare organization that was founded in 1972 and is 100% funded by individuals, our business partners and private grants. Since our inception we have found forever homes for more than 31,000 animals, and strive to be a community resource for all pet owners.
We want to save as many lives as we can but we need your help! Our adoption fee does not cover the testing, de-worming, vaccinations, spay/neutering and microchipping WSHS provides these pets, not to mention food, litter, pee pads and other supplies our animals need!
Just $25 will microchip 5 animals
$50 will feed all the animals in our shelter one meal
$100 will cover the cost to spay or neuter one animal
$250 will contribute to the medical care for one of our animals needing extra care
$500 will cover the cost of one animal in our shelter
