My Story…
Barkapalooza, West Suburban Humane's main fundraiser, is just around the corner. Please make a small donation to help this wonderful organization that has found homes for so many homeless animals. Any size donation is a BIG HELP in providing food, vaccinations, and general care for the dogs and cats, but West Suburban does so much more when needed --extra training to ready pets for adoption, medical care for those who need surgery or other treatment, humane education to help kids learn to be good pet parents. So, please forgo a Starbucks and donate that money to support West Suburban. EVERY LITTLE BIT ADDS UP!
Description
The West Suburban Humane Society (WSHS) is a private, volunteer-based, animal welfare organization that was founded in 1972 and is 100% funded by individuals, our business partners and private grants. Since our inception we have found forever homes for more than 31,000 animals, and strive to be a community resource for all pet owners.
We want to save as many lives as we can but we need your help! Our adoption fee does not cover the testing, de-worming, vaccinations, spay/neutering and microchipping WSHS provides these pets, not to mention food, litter, pee pads and other supplies our animals need!
Just $25 will microchip 5 animals
$50 will feed all the animals in our shelter one meal
$100 will cover the cost to spay or neuter one animal
$250 will contribute to the medical care for one of our animals needing extra care
$500 will cover the cost of one animal in our shelter
