My Story…
Rescues come in all shapes and sizes and each one with a special story. I had a specific breed that I was looking for and little Maddie popped up needing a home. Her story was that the family that had her didn't want her anymore because she was difficult to keep from not running away. How could this little one with luxating patella's (wonky bough legs) of her hind legs be running away? I found that she was running to find love and since she was being left alone too long. I scooped her up and showed her that she can feel secure in a home of love. Then I found out her breed was totally different than what I thought! She may not have fit in the box that I had wanted but she definitely fit in my heart that needed mending. The moral of the story is that you rescue to save a life, no matter what. The results are happy dog and happy life!
