We are Team #KarlyNetwork. Our team was established in 2013 after the sudden loss of Karly Barker. Karly was a beautiful, vivacious, extremely active 19 year-old with unsurpassed enthusiasm and energy! She was a college student who danced and cheered her way through life. Karly was a warrior for Christ and an example for others. Karly made the world a better place!

In August of 2013, Karly's life was cut short from a brain aneurysm, leaving us far too soon. Because of Karly's courageous decision to be an organ and tissue donor, many people were given a new and improved chance at life. Karly was the epitome of grace, with an unforgettable smile. She lived intentionally and all that knew her were blessed by her giving spirit!

Each year we gather together to participate in Donor Network West's 5K to honor Karly and all those who have also given the gift of life. We recognize the sacrifices of the donor families and living donors we have met, and celebrate life with the recipients. Without the work that Donor Network West does, these moments would not be possible.
