My Story…
Our family has been affected by cancer in various ways. We have lost loved ones and have dealt with the emotional toll of what cancer does to not only the people affected but their loved ones as well. Losing loved ones to cancer has altered my life in ways I can’t describe. My personal diagnosis of CML has changed me in many ways. It has given me mountains to climb and obstacles to overcome but I refuse to give it the power to keep me from living while I still can. I’m walking in memory of the ones we have lost and the ones that are still here kicking cancers butt.
Description
Help me continue to raise funds to support those battling cancer in the Wiregrass. Since 2008, the Champions of Hope event brought cutting edge cancer treatments and programs into our community. Your efforts really do make an impact in the lives of those fighting cancer, and 100% of the donations stay right here at HOME.

- PET/CT Scanner
- Chemotherapy suites
- Transportation services
- Customized information reference binders for newly diagnosed patients
- Post-mastectomy comfort kits
