Edmonton Epilepsy Association - Serving Northern AB

The Edmonton Epilepsy Association is the only organization to serve Northern Alberta, including the Fort McMurray-Wood Buffalo region. An epilepsy diagnosis can feel isolating, especially living in a remote community like Fort McMurray, the mission of the association is to assure the well-being of persons with epilepsy through increased public awareness and education. The association provides programs of assistance and support for persons with epilepsy and their families. Funds raised contribute to educational booklets, the Kids on The Block puppet show which provides a free presentation to schools and organizations, and the continued development of a kids' website designed specifically to educate youth under the age of 18.
