Help Tracy raise money

Our family has been directly effected by the history of residential schools and we come on this walk to commemorate this history. Our Grandmother Bertha Atkinson/Dion was a residential survivor and she did not share the stories of what happened during her years there but it spoke in volumes with the generational trauma that we experienced in our childhood. Our family has had to endure tragedy and coping with the trauma that has been passed down. We are starting to finally see the healing in our the new generations born but it is important that we remember the history, stand proud and raise our heads high and walk amongst our indigenous family to bring awareness to 'EVERY CHILD MATTERS'
