Welcome to our fundraising page for the 8th Annual 5K For Hope! I'm Melissa Kovalesky, Co-Founder & President of Families Raising Hope (FRH), and I'm honored to share our story with you. Cancer has touched many of us personally, whether through our own experience or that of a loved one. The journey involves not only providing care and support but also dealing with immense stress, grief, and financial challenges. The burden of paying for essential living expenses while undergoing treatment can feel overwhelming. It was this understanding that led me to co-found FRH with our friends, Jeff and Jenny McGinnis, after my own diagnosis with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia. Facing the challenge head-on, we chose to turn our nightmare into something powerful and hopeful by establishing FRH. Our mission is to provide financial assistance to individuals in Arizona undergoing cancer treatment. By participating in the 5K, you are supporting FRH and honoring my commitment to help others.
