My Story…
Growing up in a low-income household with two siblings and both of my parents in prison was a challenging and often isolating experience. While other kids at school had the support of their parents, I didn’t have that same opportunity. Navigating my way through school and planning for the future without guidance was tough. This is why I am deeply committed to making a difference for youth who may be facing similar struggles.
Through YouthWorks, I now have the chance to work with young people who might be in situations like mine. Our program is dedicated to guiding them through exploring various career fields and helping them find their passion—just as I wished I had when I was younger. We strive to open doors for these youth, providing them with valuable experiences and insights that can shape their future paths and college choices.
This year, I am aiming to raise $200 through our Aloha Run fundraiser to support scholarships for these young individuals. Your donation will directly contribute to helping them achieve their goals and build a brighter future. Every contribution, no matter how small, can make a significant impact.
Thank you for your generosity and for believing in the potential of every young person. With your support, we can help them overcome obstacles and reach their dreams.
