Welcome to the Inaugural Walk for Glacier View Lodge
On Sunday September 22, 2024 teams and individuals will walk 2k in a scenic, park like setting at Glacier View Lodge or virtually, anywhere they choose. We walk to raise funds that will make a difference in the lives of our elders who have contributed so much to us and our community. We want to provide the best quality of life to the ones we love. While walking the Glacier View Lodge property, you will view and imagine the future for seniors housing in the Comox Valley
The walk starts at 1 PM at Glacier View Lodge, 2450 Back Road, Courtenay.
Everyone is welcome to attend, to walk or simply relax and enjoy the view of the Comox Glacier and mountains. Please bring a chair. So residents’ families, Society members, friends of GVL and business supporters we hope to see all!
A shorter walk option you may wish to consider is to join residents in walking around the flagpole at the front of Glacier View Lodge.

Parking Info
Walkers are encouraged to carpool, ride bikes or walk to GVL. If parking car, attendants will direct you to the driveway to Marsland Dr. SW and next to GVL driveway. Parking lot attendants will assist you. Follow the short asphalt path up to GVL.

- Sun., September 22, 2024 12:35 p.m. - Meet at the gazebo (next to the tower and parking lot) at Glacier View Lodge - 2450 Back Road, Court
- Sun., September 22, 2024 1:00 p.m. - Walk begins. The 2k route is on the adjacent undeveloped property.
- Sun., September 22, 2024 1:30 p.m. - Welcome & Refreshments served on the outdoor patio.
- Sun., September 22, 2024 2:00 p.m. - Entertainment by The Watershed Band
- Sun., September 22, 2024 3:00 p.m. - Thank You & Farewell
