As a 5-year Stage 3 Ovarian Cancer survivor, I can tell you with certainty, that GOCA is the foundation of our strength, inspiration, and purpose. The relationships with survivors forms a bond through sharing experiences, losses, fears, and every emotion, providing inspiration. We are a family of warriors/thrivers, together we become one! GOCA is defined by connections that we create, relationships that wouldn't exist without GOCA, a community that understands, supports, and uplifts each other. The Teal Trot allows for us to show our resilience and to interact with everyone who supports this outstanding organization. To all family and friends that participate in the Teal Trot, know that GOCA is much more than just an education and awareness organization. It is a living testament to the importance of the powerful relationships that emerge when we as survivors stand united.
