My Story…
Hey everyone! Thank you for donating and/or sharing. I’m so excited to be riding in the distance challenge for the YANA Ride event this year. Being a mom to a nearly 2 year old boy has been a blessing. Supporting this organization was an easy decision, as I want to do more to help families & expecting moms who need to travel to see specialists outside the Comox Valley be able to do so, not stressing about the financial burden it may carry, and being able to just fully focus on their child’s care & health during those difficult times. Thank you for supporting this organization by sharing or donating as I ride to 200km or more! Thank you an again.
Description
Every dollar raised in the community goes to help provide financial support and accommodation to Comox Valley families who need to travel to access medical care for a child or pregnant mother.
$50 = 1 night stay at a YANA apartment in Vancouver near BC Children’s Hospital
$100 = 4 night stay at Jeneece Place, Victoria
$200 = YANA envelope of cash for family’s emergency hospital transfer
$500 = 3 nights Nanaimo hotel accommodation
$1350 = 1 month medical travel expense funding
