Help us raise money

We are participating in A Run for Chris in honour of Chris Owens. On August 20, 2021, at the age of 26, Chris lost his battle with mental health and substance use. This year, to continue the proud tradition of raising funds for programs and services helping those living with mental health and/or substance use concerns, all funds raised will support St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton’s Youth Wellness Centre (YWC) 

Please consider a donation to help us reach our fundraising goal, and so that we can help the YWC support young people in need.  

The YWC is a safe environment for young people ages 17 to 25 to receive expert care for mental health and substance use concerns. The YWC team is committed to bridging the gap between the youth and adult mental health care systems – a time when young people can fall through the cracks of our system. The care team at the YWC offers culturally-sensitive, trauma-informed care and helps young people access the mental health and substance use care they may need in a safe(r) space.
