Durhams Backyard Trail Race & Ultra

Join us at Long Sault Conservation Area for Durham Regions only Backyard Style Trail Race & Ultra.

Choose your distance. You will run a scenic 7k loop. The longer distance races will be run on 2 x 7K loops.


Online registration is now closed, but have no here you can register in person in the morning of the race.

Race distances /Start times are as follows;

2k Start time 9am

7k Start time 9:30 am Run or Walk

14k Start time 9:30 Run or Walk

21k Start time 8:30am Run

6 hours Start time 8 am Run

Prizes will be awarded in each distance for first, second and masters runners.

Soft cotton hoodies are available for sale at the checkout. Perfect for fall runs!


We will be serving lemon/lime Skratch at the aid station.


Runners in the 6 hour event must complete it in the six hour time frame. If going into your last loop, you are not able to complete it in the six hour time frame, you will not be able to start that loop.

All participants must be off the course by 2PM.

No dogs permitted at event.
