A national award-winning model for inclusive recreational programming, Camp Shriver’s mission is to improve the social, emotional, and physical well-being of children of all abilities, by providing an inclusive community of friendship and fun. We are unique in the recreational field, designed to serve children 8-12 with and without disabilities from low-income neighborhoods at no charge to families: 50% of our campers have a disability, 60% are from low-income neighborhoods, and 70% are from minority groups.
