Description

Community Autism Resources, CAR, is a non-profit 501c3 autism resource and support center. Although CAR is partially funded by the Department of Developmental Services, we depend on fundraising to continue to provide the FREE and vital services and support to children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders and their families, as they face the everyday challenges of living with autism. We provide these services at NO cost to over 4000 families in the 82 cities and towns in Southeastern MA, Cape Cod, and the Islands.

We value interventions that are as individualized as the person requesting assistance. Persons with ASD have the right to strategies which are holistic in approach and respectful of the persons’ dignity and value. Working collaboratively with families, professionals, and members of the community to enhance the quality of life for the person with ASD. Providing individuals with a broad spectrum of quality resources, rooted in current research and eclectic in their approach.
