On MEA weekend, I am challenging myself by participating in Cuyuna Trail Bingo! I am asking for your support in the form of a tax-deductible donation.
This mountain bike event raises funds for Ironton Hospitality for main street beautification. Specifically, the funds I raise from donors like you will be used to purchase new, larger, self-watering flowerpots for Ironton's main street. Also, a portion of every registration fee for this event goes to the CLMTB Crew, the volunteer organization that maintains the trails.
You may be wondering, "How does Cuyuna Trail Bingo work?" It's so fun; here's how:
- I will select a Bingo card that aligns with my mountain biking skill level. There are three options: beginner, intermediate and expert.
- The Bingo cards list the names of various Cuyuna trails.
- The beginner card includes all white and green rated trails; the intermediate card includes all white, green and blue rated trails; and the expert card includes every (open) trail in Cuyuna!
- I can only cross off a trail after I ride it. I'll take pictures of trail signs along the way for proof, and/or use an app like Strava to record my ride(s).
- Once I get a "Bingo," I earn a medal!
- Or, I can strive for the ultimate challenge - to blackout my Bingo card by riding all of the trails on my card!
I absolutely love this area and these mountain biking trails! I am excited to raise funds to help improve the city of Ironton, a place that has given so much to me. Please support my efforts with a tax-deductible donation today. Thank you!
