Raise money for WAIT House
Providing stability to homeless youth in need of support. WAIT House is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that operates a homeless youth shelter serving youth ages 16-24. WAIT House's programs include:
- Emergency Shelter Program - provides shelter including case management and goal planning for up to 60 days.
- Transitional Living Program - provides long-term shelter and services to homeless youth, primarily those who are pregnant and/or parenting.
- Child Home Health Care Management - Identifying members' needs, providing structured support and services, assisting with independence from program supports, collaborating with providers, and advocating for members.
- Permanent Housing Program - Helping individuals and families of all ages to locate and keep safe, affordable permanent housing.
- Street Outreach - Assessment, case management, referrals, and crisis stabilization for homeless or at-risk youth, including those trafficked or at risk of trafficking.
- Safe Harbour - Identifying at-risk youth for trafficking or exploitation, linking them to resources, and training local agencies and healthcare providers to recognize signs of trafficking.
- Family Opportunity Center - Serving expectant parents and families with children 21 and under experiencing behavioral, housing or academic challenges.
