My Story…
In memory of my late husband, George, my family and I are participating in our 11th Miles for Meso Walk/Run. Sadly, George lost his battle with this disease 9 years ago. Please consider donating to our team, Georgie Porgie’s Meso Patrol. Money raised goes towards improved treatment options and research. In the United States, about 3000 new cases are diagnosed each year. Symptoms typically don’t develop until 10-50 years after exposure to asbestos. With treatment, the overall life expectancy is 18-30 months. Please consider helping us to improve this devastating statistic.
