Help Shantel raise money

Mike & Shantel were able to welcome their beautiful baby boys into this world with the help on IVF. Although we are forever grateful for what advancements in fertility treatment have brought us, we also know first hand the emotional, physical and financial burden that comes with it. We were lucky enough to have the ability to wait for a government funded round of IVF, something many couples do not have the privilege of doing. Even with this financial help, we still paid thousands of dollars out of pocket for storage fees, drugs and genetic testing. Many provinces do not offer government funding as an option to individuals/couples seeking fertility treatment. Our hope is that one day, infertility will be recognized with more compassion and empathy and will be classified as a medical ailment deserving of attentive and affordable health care! We are walking this 6K to show appreciation for everything IVF and fertility treatment has brought us while also raising awareness!
