HRMC Foundation

Proceeds for Andy's Road Race go to the HRMC Foundation Dialysis Endowment.  Huron Regional Medical Center Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Huron Regional Medical Center (HRMC). Our goal is to support the health and wellbeing of our community and ensure high-quality health care is always available close to home. Right here in Huron.

The HRMC Foundation was created in 1995 to anticipate and meet the ongoing needs of our regional hospital no matter the changes and evolution in health care. Early on, we supported improved patient care, state-of-the-art diagnostic technology and updates to HRMC facilities. Today, the foundation continues the important work of supporting HRMC to provide the highest quality care possible close to home. 

The Dialysis department ensures that individuals needing dialysis multiple days a week do not have to add an hour or two commute for each of their treatments. This endowment recently raised half of the funds necessary to retrofit an existing building to a new state of the art dialysis unit that will ensure that this life saving treatment will be available in Huron for years to come.
