On my 18th birthday last year, I did something different - I celebrated with friends for the first time instead of just with family. It was a memorable day filled with laughter, joy, and love. One of my favorite places to hang out with friends is The Refuge, where we spend our days painting pottery and bonding over shared interests. The Refuge has become a second home to me, a place where I no longer feel isolated and alone. It has brought so much positivity and light into my life, allowing me to explore my creativity and make lasting memories with friends. I am grateful for the friendships I have formed and the experiences we share at The Refuge, making each day brighter and more fulfilling.
