Why is CCLA's Walk for Civil Liberties so important right now?
Democracy and democratic institutions are under threat - globally and in Canada
Reproductive justice is inaccessible to many in this country
Religious minorities, racialized and marginalized people, trans and queer individuals face greater discrimination than they have in decades
Privacy and digital rights are sorely needed in an increasingly technological world
We need justice and fairness in our legal, law enforcement, and correctional systems
These rights can only be protected when we can gather, raise our voices, and stand up for everyone's rights and freedoms!
