My Story…
Seven years ago my donor & his family made the decision to donate his organs to help save many lives of complete strangers. I'm one of those fortunate to have received his heart! The transplant journey is a long and very bumpy road. Transplantation is a treatment, not a cure as I'm reminded often. I am blessed to have my husband, family and friends to help me through. There are many individuals who need financial assistance with life long medicine, medical appointments, blood work and just plain support, of which the Donor Network is a source.
