Our story…
When Caleb was diagnosed with autism at age 2, our minds were racing with a million questions and concerns. The inability to express what he wanted or felt made it challenging to venture out in public. Caleb’s autism is invisible to most people, so unless someone engages with him, they may not realize his struggles. Because he communicates differently, we’ve learned to be even more protective of him.
Being part of this incredible community has provided us with the support and resources we need to enjoy the everyday experiences many families might take for granted.
We share this not to ask for sympathy—Caleb doesn’t need that. Like any parents, we simply want the very best for our child. Please join us in supporting this amazing organization, and help make a difference for families like ours!
