My Story…
When I first heard about Bondi to Bronte over 10 years ago, I thought this was an awesome event. I've walked along the coastline between Coogee and Bondi many times and thought it would be really cool to swim across these stunning views. I couldn't find anyone else to do the event so I never did it... Until one day after a post-basketball coffee chat with Birribi & Stav - Thank you guys for the inspiration.
During registration, I found out that the event was raising money to kick kids' cancer. We have a close friends who's son is going through cancer treatments. He was very close to my sons and whenever I think about the journey that they are going through, it reminds me to keep kicking and praying for each other.
Biriibi's conquered this swim before so I'll try my best to chase him. I'm not sure how I'll go... I've been a good swimmer in 25-50 m distances. But up until a few weeks ago, I've never swam long distances in my adult life and have no idea what the furthest distance I've swum.
Please help support me so that I can swim a little further.
