My Story…
My family and I are participating in the Theresa Tracy Trot on November 1st. Last year we participated to support the fight of our dear friend Charlene McCollum. This year we are proud to participate in her honor. Please consider donating if you're able. As you can see from the organization's mission statement below, it's a great cause with local impact.
Our Mission:
To increase the survival of pancreatic cancer through awareness of signs and symptoms of pancreatic cancer and advancement of cures through funding for research for early detection, testing, and treatment of pancreatic cancer.
The Theresa Tracy Strive to Survive organization is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization. It is an organization formed out of love for Theresa Tracy who lost her short and brutal fight with pancreatic cancer on 11/28/10 and the desire to honor her memory and the memory of all those who have battled this formidable foe. Through philanthropy and advocacy we strive to raise awareness of pancreatic cancer – socially, politically, physically, and spiritually – and we dedicate ourselves to aid researchers, to create hope and improve survival rates, and to multiply survivors.
