Hello Family and Friends,

It's my second year participating in a run that is near and dear to my heart as I have this illness.

The 5th Annual 5k/1 mile Color Run for Ovarian Cancer is gearing up.

Please support us in our fight against Ovarian Cancer! It's a cancer that's not talked about, and many of you probably haven't heard of it. 

I was diagnosed with Stage 3c Ovarian Cancer on 9/18/23 ( Ironically in Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month).

I'm fighting to live with everything in me, GOD'S Grace & Mercy, my family, and the few friends I have supporting me as I've since transitioned to Stage 4A Ovarian Cancer.

I've had surgery to remove some tumors and completed 6 rounds of chemotherapy on 2/9/2024.

On 4/12/2024, I was informed I was not  only not cancerfree; but I sadly never would be. I'm now stage 4A, and they told me they could not only not cure me but will never be able to do so due to the location of tumors. Surgery to remove the others wouldn't help because I would always have cancer anyway.

But GOD...HE is a Miracle worker, and not only did HE remove the tumors, but I was able to have a total hysterectomy July 12th, 2024, to remove the rest of the tumors I had. Sadly, in September of 2024, I found out the tumors had returned, so by December 11, 2024, I was back in chemotherapy.

At this time (February 2025), the chemotherapy is not working, and my CA-125 is continuing to rise.

I've learned through this process that there is no cure for Ovarian Cancer (man can't cure me). I will continue to be in and out of chemotherapy indefinitely.

This is GOD'S Battle now.

I Decree and Declare GOD will cure me!

There are no tests that are 100% accurate but I implore you to get a CA-125 blood test, a transvaginal ultrasound, a CT scan or PET scan ( talk to your OB/GYN), as well as learn and be aware of the signs because they're very basic.
