My Story…
Friends! I loved camping as a kid outside of Windsor at Wheatley Provincial Park. My parents and neighbours packed food, tents, crank up campers, a guitar and swimsuits. We made our own fun in nature. I was so lucky to be so close to a place like this, and fortunate that my parents were able to have time and means to arrange it. At the Y, we have camp programs for kids of all neighbourhoods and incomes, no matter where they live in the GTA and no matter what their family can or can't afford. And there are so many kids waiting for your support to meet friends, gain new skills and be active in the great outdoors. Please give any amount you can to share the joy of camp with a child through the Y! Thank you for your support!! ~Renee

I’m participating in this year’s YMCA Charity 5K because I believe every child deserves the magic of camp—making friends, exploring the outdoors, and creating lifelong memories. This year, the YMCA aims to send 600 kids to camp—100 more than last year! Will you help me reach my goal and give a child this incredible experience? Every donation makes a difference.
