My Story…
If you have met my family you have probably heard them mock me by singing “I can see the Y”.
I made the song up as a toddler, singing it daily as mum drove into her sanctuary, the North York YMCA. She got time with friends in a fitness class, we had fun in the Y child care. It was worth listening to me sing off key everyday.
Whether child care, swim classes or the many day camps I attended the Y was a huge part of my childhood.
The best part?
I learned & played alongside all sorts of kids.
With financial aid everyone was welcome at the Y.
Camp is more than fun memories, it is a space to learn new skills, gain confidence, and meet lots of friends. Please consider donating to ensure cost is never a barrier when it comes to YMCA camps in Toronto.

I’m participating in this year’s YMCA Charity 5K because I believe every child deserves the magic of camp—making friends, exploring the outdoors, and creating lifelong memories. This year, the YMCA aims to send 600 kids to camp—100 more than last year! Will you help me reach my goal and give a child this incredible experience? Every donation makes a difference.
