My Story…
On May 28th 2024, I suffered a heart attack at only 37 years old. As a mom to 4 girls (including a set of twins) and being married to my husband for over 10 years, my heart attack was a terrifying life changing moment for me and a huge wake up call. After months of rehab and getting my life and health back on track, I'm proof that hard work and dedication can really pay off in big ways. I've lost 70 lbs and feel great. I'm running this 5k as a culmination of all my hard work this past year and to show that we can all do hard things and be successful.
I'll be wearing a custom teal tshirt thanking all the people and groups who made this run possible. If you are in the area, come out and look for me!
