My Story…
I never know how to start these things off. However, I do know what makes me run. I run to bring my mind back to a positive place. To me there is no right or wrong to running. There is just a goal to finish.
I have struggled with mental and chronic illness, daily pain and many injuries. However, when I start running nothing else matters besides that finishing point.
Finding the Still I Run community has brought positive change to how I deal with my mental illness. Along with myself, I know many other people who have struggled or are struggling with mental illness, and that is why I choose to put my running to good use.
I will run at least a mile every day in the month of May to raise money to help bring awareness to the struggles mental health has on our community.
