October 29: makes fundraising page, sets goal for $200
October 30: reaches fundraising goal
October 31: [Jamie] “What!? Really? Okay, now I’m going to raise $400!”
November 2: reaches updated fundraising goal
November 3: [Jamie] "I want to get to $500 now. How much does $500 get for Centre55?"
December 3: [Jamie] "Over $900?! That's practically almost $1000! I think we can do it."
December 4: reaches his goal of $1000!
[Jamie] "let's keep going even more. And next year, I'm going to try and raise $5000."
Help Jamie continue his fundraising efforts before the 1km kids fun run this Sunday, December 7.
With incredible support from family and friends, in just over 1 month, Jamie has been able to raise over $900 in support of Community Centre 55. Now we are sharing one last push with the broader community to show our 7-year-old the power of community, and how making small contributions can make a big impact.
Your generosity will go a long way to support programs like affordable aftercare, workshops for young people, summer camps and Leader-in-Training jobs, social activities for seniors, and initiatives like their ‘Share A Christmas’ program.
