My Story…

This year, I’ve become very involved with Lifeline Animal Shelter, the largest animal welfare organization in Georgia. I’ve volunteered in their shelters, “foster-failed” a sweet dog named Jareth (who was on the urgent list), and helped at Lifeline’s Healthy Pets events, which provide free veterinary care and supplies to those in need.

What I love about Lifeline is that they are committed not only to animals, but also to people. They support those who desperately want to keep their animals but don't have the financial resources to do so. Lifeline wants everyone, especially in these difficult financial times, to remain with the animals they love. Even now, with record numbers of homeless pets entering shelters, Lifeline’s staff and volunteers continue to show incredible dedication and heart.

Those who know me know I’m a lifelong animal lover. Our dogs, Sydney and Jareth, both rescues from Lifeline, brighten my life on a daily basis (especially as my work-from-home companions). By working with Lifeline, I want to help every pet find a loving home and support people in finding, or keeping, their lifelong companions.

I know that the world is chaotic and that so many causes need and are worthy of your support. Please, only donate if you are willing and able, and know that any donation is appreciated and makes a difference! I will be running a 5k (with Sydney, dressed up as a cow) on October 26, 2025 with Lifeline to raise money for their lifesaving work. Jareth will be doing a walk with Nick, dressed up as a shark. Pictures will be provided upon request.

Thank you so much for your support! 💙

Much love,

Becky, Sydney, & Jareth
