Addilyn and Anissa are neighbors who share a unique and powerful bond—both were born with a right-side unilateral cleft lip. Despite being 23 years apart in age, their journeys are connected in a beautiful way. They were both were seen by the same incredible surgeon. Anissa and her family have been an incredible source of inspiration and support for Addilyn and her family. From meeting a week after Addilyn was born while out on a walk through the first year of surgeries, Anissa and her families experience, strength, and kindness helped guide Addilyn’s family through the challenges with hope and reassurance.
