My Story…
Hi! It's me.
Some of you certainly already know you but others might not... I have been suffering from debilitating chronic migraines since the age of 13. Daily and monthly medications/injections along with rescue treatments to fight back are just my “normal”. I’m not alone as chronic migraine is a very unrecognized condition.
There are times that are worse than others. Migraines are more than just a headache are wildly hard to explain when you learn to try your best to "cope" with them and live a normal life. Imagine living with pain so intense that it can derail your entire day- over and over again. These attacks are both debilitating and unpredictable and bring on crushing pain, nausea, extreme sensitivity to light and sound as well as many other things.
There is much that is needed to be done in the world of research and treatment for all of the warriors out there. By supporting this fundraising event, you’re helping to bring us hope, fund research, and improve care for those who deserve relief.
