In 2023, I was diagnosed with stage 2 invasive lobular carcinoma. I carry the PALB2 gene, which is the sister gene to the better-known BRCA gene. The PALB2 gene was discovered less than a decade ago, so there is little information about it. In fact, I helped categorize my variant as carcinogenic. Before my diagnosis, it was unknown if my variant caused cancer. Please help me raise funds to help other breast cancer survivors and thrivers!
