Thumbs Up

The Titus family started Thumbs Up Foundation (TUF) after their son Braden couldn’t find the right resources in time to help him when he needed it most. They have lived with the devastation of his death every day since his suicide in 2015. Since then, TUF has walked alongside hundreds of individuals and families, connecting and coordinating diverse community service providers aligned to people’s specific needs. We have seen the difference that access and connected care make. 

TUF is passionate about eliminating silos and barriers, and our grassroots approach is rooted in the present with an eye on the future. We work with strategic community partners to identify and demonstrate new, pragmatic solutions for connecting community-based mental and emotional wellness concepts and services to those who need it when they need it. We balance practical approaches against the latest research. 

Our vision is simple but powerful: a world where physical and mental wellness are balanced. Where access to mental, physical and emotional care is timely and in harmony, and where each person is treated as an individual. Where hope isn’t just a word but a reality.
