My Story…
Hi there,
My name is Jessica Rojas, I am the Financial Literacy Program Coordinator at JCYC. One of the most rewarding parts of my role is helping students and parents navigate the complexities of financial aid. I primarily work with first-generation, college-bound students who are often understandably anxious about how they will afford college and what the process entails.
At our Cash for College events, we host presentations led by financial aid experts who help demystify the process and ease some of these concerns. In addition, we provide hands-on support for students and their families as they complete the FAFSA or California Dream Act applications, guiding them step-by-step.
At JCYC, we recognize how crucial financial support is in making college a reality for many students. That’s why we host the annual Aloha Run—an event where proceeds go toward scholarships for the very students we serve.
With your support, we can continue breaking down financial barriers to higher education. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a meaningful difference.
Thank you in advance for being part of the change we’re creating in our community. :~)
