Help Cindy raise money

Hi!

I'm raising money again this year for Barkapalooza that will happen on Sunday, September 28th and supports the homeless pets at the West Suburban Humane Society (WSHS). 

This is my 21st year as a volunteer with this amazing organization--one whose mission is incredibly important to me. I am a Shift Coordinator every other Saturday morning, working with an amazing team of volunteers feeding and medicating the cats and kittens and cleaning the Cattery, making sure they're all ready to meet their potential adopters when the shelter opens later in the morning. I also transport shelter animals to and from their vet appointments, and I've served on the Board of Directors and written grants. 

I feel that my most important role as a volunteer is to help raise money for Barkapalooza, our largest fundraiser of the year. WSHS receives no federal funds--it all comes from fundraisers and compassionate donors like ourselves. Barkapalooza raises very important money not only for food and shelter, but for routine and emergency veterinary care, training, respite foster care, and more, insuring these pets get their best chance to live happy, healthy lives in their forever homes.

I am asking for your help in my fundraising effort this year that will enable WSHS to continue to provide the highest standard of care to homeless animals. No donation is too small - any donation helps!
