My Story…
Hey Friends! It’s that time of year to raise awareness for Open Door through our annual 5k.
I have been serving at Open Door for over 6 years now. I started off in the Family Room as an assistant serving our friends that are unhoused and became the director during Covid. After 3 years in the Family Room, the Lord led me to be the Nehemiah Leadership Initiative Director. I am now shepherding individuals who are seeking to pursue the call of God on their lives through our gap year fellowship.
I am passionate about seeing people walk in deeper intimacy with the Lord and grow in maturity as they submit to the Lord’s refining process.

Thanks to YOU, we raised $239,722.98 through this year’s R4TD Virtual 5K!
BUT We're Not Done Yet — Help Us Reach $250,000 Our Goal!
This year’s Run for the Door was an incredible success thanks to YOU. With two generous matching gifts—a $100,000 pre-race match and a $10,000 Race Day match—we raised an amazing $239,722.98 to help fight poverty in Denver!
We’re so close to our $250,000 goal, and it’s not too late to make a difference. Every donation counts, and your continued support helps bring hope and transformation to lives in our community.

For nearly 30 years, Open Door Ministries has provided practical help and Christ's hope to people who are overcoming homelessness or poverty in our city. Through 18 distinct programs under four focus areas -- Housing, Children & Youth, Outreach and Leadership Development -- we believe the best way to serve our friends is to surround them with support, holistically empowering them to overcome obstacles, attain self-sufficiency, and thrive!
