Prevent Homelessness and Poverty in Denver!
Join me and Team Rood Runners OR donate to help raise funds for Open Door Ministries! We are an organization in downtown Denver with a goal to address poverty, build communities, and cultivate followers of Christ in Denver. We do that through four focus areas: housing, leadership, youth, and outreach. I work in one of our four women's homes, for single women coming out of crisis, which includes homelessness, addictions, domestic violence, trauma, etc. Because we are a Christian organization, we rely on private funding to keep on going!
All race registrations or donations to Rood Runners directly goes to my support account for my work as Esther House Director. Any amount is helpful!

Our MISSION is to address poverty, build communities, and cultivate disciples for Christ in Denver.
For nearly 30 years, Open Door Ministries has provided practical help and Christ's hope to people who are overcoming homelessness or poverty in our city. Through 18 distinct programs under four focus areas -- Housing, Children & Youth, Outreach and Leadership Development -- we believe the best way to serve our friends is to surround them with support, holistically empowering them to overcome obstacles, attain self-sufficiency, and thrive!
