Our story…
In honour of Ian Perera, who we lost in 2018 at the age of 20, our family will be participating in a 5K walk to raise awareness and funds for suicide prevention programs in the city of Hamilton.
Those who know Ian’s story know how dependant he was on mental health services. While education about mental health is more robust than before, the programs and systems currently in place have a lot of room for growth and improvement. We thank you for your support in honouring Ian and all those who have lost their lives or loved ones to suicide.
