Hi everyone! As most of you know, I used to intern with McConnell Music Therapy Services, and now I work here! As a board certified music therapist with a private practice, I work at a variety of sites with one being the Pediatric and Neonatal Units at Sutter Sacramento.

Music therapy in the pediatric medical setting mainly addresses positive/alternate engagement, developmentally appropriate stimuli, autonomy, and family support. We can also address motor skills, emotional support, socialization; the list can go on.
